Rev. Dr. Heather Brewer serves as the pastor of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, Wisconsin. She brings a passion for preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and creating meaningful worship experiences that help people grow in faith and connect with God.
Pastor Heather has served in ministry for more than 15 years in the Wisconsin Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, following three years of ministry in the North Texas Conference. She was ordained an Elder in 2014 and holds a Doctor of Ministry in Community Organizing from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.
Her studies explored how the principles of community organizing can help congregations strengthen relationships, improve communication, build unity, and become more engaged in their communities. She believes that listening to one another, building relationships, and working together are important parts of a healthy and growing church.
At Immanuel, Pastor Heather works alongside the congregation to discover new ways to share God's love through worship, discipleship, and service. She values bringing people together, encouraging participation, and helping the church respond faithfully to the needs and opportunities within the community.
Pastor Heather is a mother and grandmother who treasures her family. She brings her faith, experience, and love for people to her ministry and looks forward to what God continues to do through the Immanuel church family.
