MINISTRIES AT IMMANUEL

There's a Place for Everyone

Church is more than what happens on Sunday morning. It's about growing in faith, building relationships, discovering our gifts, and finding ways to share God's love with others.

At Immanuel, there are many ways to connect and participate. Whether you're interested in music, learning more about the Bible, spending time with others, helping children grow in faith, or serving our community, we'd love to help you find a place where you can get involved.

You don't have to be a member or have years of church experience to participate. Start with something that interests you, meet some people, and discover how your gifts can make a difference.

Explore the opportunities below, or contact us to learn more.

We'd be happy to help you find your place at Immanuel.

Ministries

Immanuel United Methodist Church offers ministries designed for children, youth and adults.

  • children & YOUTH

Growing in Faith, Making Friends, and Having Fun!

At Immanuel United Methodist Church, we believe children and youth are an important part of our church family! We want every child to feel welcomed, loved, and encouraged as they discover God's love, build friendships, and grow in their faith. We offer opportunities throughout the year for kids of all ages to learn, participate, and have fun together.

    SUNDAY SCHOOL

    Sundays | 10:15–11:00 AM |

    During the School Year

Sunday School is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about God's love in a fun, welcoming environment. Through Bible stories, activities, conversations, and friendships, kids are encouraged to explore their faith and discover what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.

COOL TIME (Children of Our Lord)

During Most Sunday Worship Services | 9:00 AM

Kids are always welcome in worship at Immanuel! During most Sunday services, we offer COOL TIME, a special children's message designed just for them. Through simple stories, fun illustrations, and meaningful conversations, children learn about God's love in ways they can understand and relate to their own lives. It's a special time when our youngest members remind all of us that faith is something we continue to discover together!

    IGNITE – YOUTH PRAISE BAND

    A Special Summer Experience | Grades 6–12

Do you love music? Have you ever wanted to sing in a band or learn to play an instrument? Ignite is a special weeklong summer experience where youth in grades 6–12 can explore music, discover their talents, and experience the joy of making music together!

Throughout the week, participants have the opportunity to learn about being part of a praise band, try musical instruments, develop their singing skills, and work together as a team. The week wraps up with a special concert for the community, where everyone gets to share what they've learned! Whether you're an experienced musician or just curious about trying something new, Ignite is a fun way to build friendships, grow in confidence, and share God's love through music.

There's a Place for Your Family at Immanuel!

Whether it's learning a Bible story, participating in worship, or making music with friends, we want children and youth to know they belong here. We invite your family to come experience all that Immanuel has to offer!

Have questions? We'd love to hear from you! Contact our church office to learn more about our children and youth ministries.

  • Music Ministry

    Sharing God's Love Through Music!

Music is an important part of worship at Immanuel United Methodist Church! We believe music has the power to inspire, encourage, and bring us closer to God and one another. Our worship services offer something for everyone, bringing together traditional hymns, contemporary Christian music, and beautiful organ and piano instrumentals.

Whether you love to sing, play an instrument, or simply enjoy listening, music is one of the many ways we celebrate our faith together!

    CHANCEL CHOIR

Our Chancel Choir shares the joy of music through a variety of anthems and special selections during worship. The choir sings on the first and third Sundays of each month, September through May.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM, in the church sanctuary.

We welcome anyone who enjoys singing to join us! You don't need to be a professional singer—just bring your love of music and a willingness to share your gifts.

    RESONATE - OUR PRAISE TEAM

Resonate, Immanuel's praise team, leads us in contemporary Christian music every Sunday morning. Through uplifting songs, meaningful lyrics, and heartfelt worship, Resonate helps create an atmosphere where people of all generations can connect with God.

Our praise team is an important part of our Sunday worship experience, bringing energy, inspiration, and opportunities for the congregation to lift their voices together.

    SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!

At Immanuel, we celebrate the many ways music can touch our hearts and strengthen our faith. Our Sunday worship service brings together the richness of traditional hymns, the energy of contemporary praise music, and the beauty of organ and piano music—all in one service for our entire church family.

There's a place for you in Immanuel's music ministry!

Whether you're interested in singing with the choir, participating in Resonate, or sharing your instrumental talents, we'd love to have you join us.

  • ADULT SMALL GROUPS

Growing in Faith. Building Friendships. Doing Life Together.

Faith is a journey, and we believe it's a journey best shared with others! At Immanuel United Methodist Church, our adult small groups offer opportunities to connect with others, explore your faith, ask questions, and grow together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of small groups focused on different topics and interests, including:

    • Bible Studies – Explore Scripture, ask questions, and discover how God's Word connects to our everyday lives.
    • Faith Sharing – Discover and share your own faith story while listening to how God has been at work in the lives of others.
    • Biblical Hospitality – Explore what it means to welcome others, build meaningful relationships, and share God's love beyond the walls of the church.
    • Faith and Everyday Life – Connect with others through conversations about life's challenges, joys, and the ways we experience God in our daily lives.

Some groups meet for just a few weeks, while others may meet over a longer period. You don't need to be a Bible expert or have all the answers. Just come as you are, with an open heart and a willingness to grow!

    There's a Place for You!

Whether you've been part of Immanuel for years, are new to our church, or are simply curious about exploring your faith, you're welcome to join us.

New groups and topics are offered throughout the year!
